In the Parish and School the Pastor retains final authority on all matters. The School Council, whose authority is derived from the Pastor of the parish, is established to serve as a consultative body to the Pastor and Principal in areas of finances, school enhancement, policy, development and strategic planning. Each council shall be composed of elected, appointed and ex-officio members as set forth in its constitution.

In the Parish and School the Pastor retains final authority on all matters. The purpose of St. Mary Magdalen School PTC is to foster a partnership between home and school, which will aid the principal in providing programs and financial resources for the improvement of the educational programs of the school. The blueprint Constitution and By-Laws prescribed by the Archdiocesan PTC Federation are used by St. Mary Magdalen School PTC. All parents and teachers are required to attend PTC meetings to promote the overall community spirit and morale of the school. Parents will receive one Service Hour per family for attendance at PTC meetings.
